Royal Crescent, Cheltenham

Royal Crescent was built between 1805 – 1825 by Charles Harcourt, an architect from Bath, on behalf of his client, Joseph Pitt.

The Crescent was originally built as lodgings for visitors to the Spa and it is believed that in 1832 Princess Victoria visited the Duke of Gloucester at No.18.

Today the Crescent remains home to a mix of prestigious private residences and a number of the town’s leading professional services, including solicitors and health professionals.
